About Us
Our ministry is based on the bible. Our bible tells us that we must first love God. Second, we must love our neighbor, as we love ourselves.
Duet. 6:5 Love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
John 13:34,35
34 A new commandment I give unto you. That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
By reaching out, we are showing God's love. We are reaching out to let others know, although you will go through ups and downs in life, you can go through without being broke down. I heard "a setback is nothing but a set up for a come back".
We want to make our best efforts to let everyone we come in contact with know that whatever the situation, issue or problem, God is in control. TRY JESUS...He will make everything alright. Even if we just say a few words, and encourage someone to read the Word, we have done something.
Luke 18:27 And He said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
The best way to get the word out about something is to advertise. The best way that advertising works, is repetition. If every time you look up, and you see that logo, Try Jesus, then you see someone wearing a shirt that says Try Jesus, and you go to St. Pete, and you see Try Jesus...you/they/anyone needing help, will consider Trying Jesus.
Our focus is to encourage and help lead others to Christ (to plant the seed). Our 4 major areas of focus will be: Relationships, Feelings, Health, Life's Struggles
If relationship is our monthly focus, our monthly questions will ask:
Need a friend? Need someone to talk to? Has someone let you down?
...Even when everything isn't alright. He will make it seem everything is alright because He will be taking care of business on your behalf, He is working that thing out. For all we know, that thing can already be worked out, we just haven;t gotten to that point yet. You know we must go through because it makes us strong, it builds our character, it makes us lend and depend on Him. I don't know about you, but I want to be at a point in my relationship with God where I give it to Him, and go wash dishes. Meaning, I know He can work it out, I just need to do what I need to do.
Let's work together to get the word out...TRY JESUS.
We welcome your ideas that may help us uniquely get unbelievers or persons who just don't know, to Try Jesus. All we need is to reach out to is that small part of their spirit that we were all born with, that is always longing for God. Once they realize that He is what they have been missing all this time, God will do rest.
Let's always be mindful of how we treat people. Treat people how you want to be treated.
Let's tell people that we love them, and mean it. What a concept!
