Read Colossians 3: 12-16

"Try Jesus" aka TJ is a advertising Ministry committed to telling others about Jesus.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

THE CAUSE: Men/women will see Him and live, and not die.

FOR THIS CAUSE Try Jesus is committed to serving God and living up to what we have been appointed to do as Christains. Read 2 Timothy 1:11.

In Matthew 5:13-14, Jesus tells us:"You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden."

It's time for us to put ourselves at the disposal of God. It's a different season now, and people need to try different things to make things work. Let's be encouraging and tell them to start by letting their foundation be Jesus. It's time to be real Christians. Real Christains care about others. They walk in love, and trully care if someone doesn't have a relationship with Christ.

It's well overdue for us as a church, as a family, as children of God, as Christians to up our game. It's far too many people going through and thinking they have no one to turn to. Let's at least tell them to "try Jesus". Who is telling them that? And if they are being told, maybe a few more of us need to tell them, maybe they may just try Him. We have to do this on purpose. With our family, we can show them by example...What about the other men, women and children that didn't grow up knowing anything about salvation. Therefore, they don't have it nor does anyone in their circle have it. I'm not saying I can't do it by myself, because I have God, but I can't cover as much ground. I can sure use some help.

LET'S BE A PART OF A "LOVE REVOLUTION"!

Wherever you may be on your spiritual path, you know for yourself that things just wasn't right until you tried Him. Don't you wish everyone had a relationship with Him? Doesn't it trouble your heart sometimes that they don't?

We aspire to strengthen each person's confidence and joy in Jesus Christ - at every point in their life, and encourage personal and spiritual growth through prayer, Bible study and active service in church and our community. If nothing else, if we can get someone to read the Word...I believe that would be a great beginning to a great relationship.

Our only mission is to Advertise God in hope that someone else will "TRY JESUS".

When you become a member, your first commitment is to Advertise God. As an individual, your commitment is to order a shirt. With each shirt order, you will receive business cards. When you wear the shirt, that is half the commitment. The business cards are used to invite them to attend a church in their area, or to visit your church home where they can join a church family.

As a church, the commitment can be awesome! You will commit to display the Try Jesus Decal. If that's all the commitment you are willing to do, I'll appreciate that. To really be involved in this effort of outreach, you can display a weekly focus (a question) and a weekly scripture. There will also be opportunity to order products like shirts and jewelry for the congregation which can assist you to generate some funds.. As a congregational effort, this ministry can be incorporated into your current outreach ministry. For more information, please contact me.

From My Heart - Words of Encouragement

Thru experience, I have learned that there will be up and downs. So, if I know there will be trying times, when they come, will I… a) dwell in times and ride it out by acting like I’m going through?. Or, do I… b) act like I know.

When I say “act like I know”. It simply means. I’ve been here before, it’s only temporary, God says He’s got me, and I know He’s got me…and most importantly, I don’t dwell on the situation. I’ve learn to step out side the box. So the situation goes in a box, and I step off and give it to God. Now, most of time situations are faucets that have more then one aspect, consequently, you need handle some things…so if there are some things that are in your control, that you need to change, handle it so God to do His thing. Take out the trash! Keep moving forward!

A lot of things are beyond our control, so we have no reason to let it get the best of us, by dwelling in it and worrying about it. If you truly give something to God, you need to know that He will handle it. He will free you up from that situation so that you can work on your part. You must know that I’m not saying give it to God and go sit down. I may say give it to God and go wash some clothes…meaning go on with you life as it is. Realizing trouble doesn’t last always. Realizing that the best way to go through is to go do! Go do your praising, go do your worshiping just like you don’t have a care in the world. Just focusing on how good God is. Focusing on the power He has given you, the strength you have because of Him. The joy you have, because of Him.

How can you let something/anything hinder you praise! How can you rob God of His due? How can you, knowing His goodness, knowing His grace, His mercy! All you know, God has already worked it out…you just don’t see it…today. Your morning will come.

In closing, we will go through… no doubt. But, if you look from outside the box, into the box where God is fighting it out for you, you will when the battle. Yes, you'll look at it, it will try to mess with you, But... because are "outside of the box" and God is in there handling His business! There is still joy, there is still peace, you are walking with grace, mercy is with you, Before you know it, the box is gone. You look for it, and don't even know when it left. That can be called "praising your way through it".

‘MY GOOD TIMES, OUT WAY MY BAD”… meaning good time last much longer than bad times, and are more often there than bad. I remember when I didn't understand the song, joy will come in the morning, I use to say, it's morning now, but it just wasn't that morning. One morning soon, you'll wake up, and your joy will be right there. I pray that your morning will be here soon.

It's hard to believe, but I realize that some people don't have a clue about Jesus. Even if you have heard "Just confess with your month that Jesus is Lord...you shall be saved" read Romans 10:9.

SAVED: Understanding the grace and mercy of God. When you are saved, you "get it" JESUS DIED FOR ME.

I heard a testimony from CTN, Mike Gonzalez, and I have to use this analogy. He said..."Imagine this; Say you were on death row, and you just had that last meal, and then suddenly, someone came to your cell, the doors opened, and He said, you don't have to die, I'll take your place, and you are free".

WHAT AN AWESOME EXAMPLE OF BEING SAVED THAT WE CAN ALL UNDERSTAND!

I know you have heard people talk about God, and just didn't believe anything they said...it's normal, you just don't know, you just don't "get it". I encourage you to find out more about Jesus. It's nothing like knowing Him for yourself. Jesus is not someone in history that died...He lives, and He can live in you if you ask Him. You will experience life like never before, you will be grieved because you did not try Him sooner. Some people say you don't have to go to church...you can study on your own, watch Christian television, and you can learn a lot; true. But, the purpose of the church is fellowship. When you join a church, you become a part of a body. Now, if you are a part of a body, when you are not there, the body will be missing a member of the body. Join a church, get involved, and let God use you. The most important part in this "relationship" is reading the Word/Bible...He is the Word. The more you read, the more you will understand, the closer you will get to Him. You start to see that He loves you, and He has always loved you, and He has been waiting for you with open arms. By the way, Christians are not boring people, that don't do anything, and wear a certain attire. We have fun too. Just Try Jesus and you will have life more abundantly.
